question about 4 ohm dvc subs

Been trying to search for an answer for this, but no luck. My question is if I wire my 2 4ohm subs series/parallel and run them bridged, what will my final ohm be? I read somewhere it should be 4, but I'm not too sure. I read you can't get 2 4ohm subs down to 2ohms in bridged mode, only 1 ohm if you run them parallel. Can anyone give me some info? Thanks!
