not yet i dont have a grip on it but ill get it figured out. power is very very very important in spl comps i ****** it up even with all my equipment last year because my amps so power thirsty and i dont like d class amps they heat up voice coils too much with my expierence any way so i got a big a$$ high current maaudio amp 4400 rms baby.

Why not get more batteries?

well if you're dropping to 10v, obviously there isn't enough current there...

not enought current how i have a 180 amp alt and 3 batteries 2 are yellow tops in the trunk

that amp draws an insane amount of current... more than your alt will produce so its tapping into your batteries, which arent providing enough either.

So get a few more batteries...

Do a few more runs of power/gnd on both the batts and the amp...

You're amp is gonna go up in smoke...along with several other things in your car if you try 24v...

no kidding it draws alot i cant feed it enough its so thirsty i might jsut try adding a line driver or bass driver and 2 more batteries. id be happy with 14 volts i should be able to get that i have a big cap too 10 farad ma audio on to match the amp. last year i couldnt stay over 10 volts i think a newer alt still 180 amp, a line driver or bass driver plus 4 batteries in the trunk should help.

Get some optima D31Ms in the trunk, ditch the cap. Kinetik 2400s would work well also.
