Quantum 1000.1

I recently bought a Quantum Q1000.1 amp for $150. The guy I bought it from claims 1000 rms at 2 ohms. I cannot find any information on this amp anywhere. If anyone has some info on this I would love to hear it.

i had the 1500 watt version and didnt like it at all...i switched it with a pa2400 watt amp and noticed a huge difference

It does more like 500watts at 2 ohms. I have the 1500.1, and it puts beetween 600 to 700watts at most.

Mine gets really hot at 2ohms, but does not goes onto protect or anything. I is making around 450watts with gains set really conservative, to a pioneer 12 DVC TW307 D4. It does have 80amps of fuses, so 700watts won't be to farfetched.
