Quality Sound for 2007 Tahoe

Hello all. I am new to the forum, but not that new to car audio. I have gone through a variety of systems in my previous cars. However I have been out of the loop for the past 2yrs or so. Im now back in though, and Im looking to do an install in my 2007 Tahoe. When I was younger I just wanted massive bass with half decent sound. But for this install I want to design a system that is more balanced and better sounding. I am having some trouble picking some products however. So far I plan on using my Factor DVD Navigation system. I was planning on using the JL Audio Clean Sweep, two w6v2 12's in a sealed box, the slash 1000v1 or v2 amp, a JL component set and a 4 channel JL amp to run them. I have the old 200amp stinger alternator and battery from my old setup. I want my lows to be crisp and loud, but not "boomy" or "muffled". Does anybody have any experience with these products. My budget for the system is about $4500-$5000. Any advice is appreciated.

Wow. 4500-5000 will get you a VERY VERY nice setup, unfortunately I don't know that much about subs so I will let the others chime in.

if you got 4-5k on cash i say.two jl w7's and 2 jl 1000/1's,sq and will get pretty loud in a ported box

Well he needs more than just subs, and JL is "great" but better can be had in that budget. That's why I "thank" he said it was stupid.

You definetly need to think about deadening your whole tahoe, not a bad idea and will really step things up a little. Two Fi Q's wouldn't be a bad option, unless you are very set on the JL, the JL is very nice equipment, but for a cheaper and better in some areas like Focals for the componets, or Rainbows. Etc etc. I said that post was stupid becasue any idiot can throw in two subs and an amp.
