MMATS would probably say otherwise since some of their competition amps are designed to run at 1/2 ohm. At the same time, they probably will recommend something other than their .5 ohm stable amps for daily use.In my opinion...NO AMP WAS DESIGNED TO RUN AT 1/2 ohm. Other than people trying to create magic smoke by over running them or their amount of voltage on hand. I am sure they are a nice amp.

Regardless, .5 is too close to a theoretical short for me and I would rather run two amps @ 1 ohm each than one amp at .5.
