Quality of Cheap Ebay Double DIN Tough-Screen Stereos?

What do you guys think? I'm talking about the ones that go for $150-200. I'm considering buying one for my 2004 F150. I see that some have small differences such as channels. I'm wanting at least a four channel for front and rear, obviously, and a sub. Now I'm very new to car audio, and all the HUs I've seen that have 4.1/5 (is that even the correct way to say it lol?) channels for front and rear speakers, and subs, have three sets of cables. Six all together. Some of these HUs have a "subwoofer cable" but its just one cable. How's that work? lol

Not sure if I can post links to vendors in this forum or not (like I said I'm new lol) so if someone could tell me the answer to that, I'd post some links for you guys. Thanks!

the image on the screens look good but to my ear the sound is very poor

I got one for my gfs car. She loved it. Me however its nice but like said above the sound could be better. I just added a amp to the speakers and its good. Gps is great on it.

You still get what you pay for, although better in this day and age with the crappy economy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif A friend of mine had one of the cheap ebay touchscreen DVD's and I was not impressed. It had a flip-out screen and the mechanism + motor made lots of noise. Sounded like it was going to break just opening and closing the screen.

If you keep watching Ebay....for about $400 you can get a nice Kenwood or other brand, usually new.

QUALITY - CHEAP - EBAY... 2 of the 3 words belong together, lol.... you really do get what you pay for. But, if you dont set your expectations way too high, and realize that you are buying a cheap chinese knowckoff, and you should be ok.
