okay so im building a new box for my18" omega in a 2004 dodge ram the box will be around 6 cubes with 100 sq of port

My question is should i do sub up port up or sub up port down? the way i have it right now is sub up port forward and i just dont like it.

I would try port and sub up. But, you can build them both, and see which you like best.

That way will cost more, but at least you will know which you like the most.

yeah thats what i was thinking but i was hoping someone had some experience with this type of setup in a truck

i personally like port up sub up in my truck. alot of people like either sub up port to the side or sub forward port the side.

Sub up/port up ain't bad if your wife dont mind getting her hair tossed around sitting over the port...........

It actually sounds louder by ear to me, then any other way. The meter may prove me wrong.

Just make sure you roundover your port edges so you have no whistle with the port that close to you. And you will do fine.
