I have been plannin out my box for my L5's,and my friends asked me to make him a plan too( the premier ts-sw 124d or whatever they are the shallow mount subs)( I am using WINISD) and I noticed that the QMS is 11.35 on my L5 and the QMS on his subs are 38.540,that sound like a huge difference and I just would like to know how QMS affects sub performances. Thanks for any input!

Q is the magnification of resonance factor of any resonant device or circuit. A driver with a higher Q is more resonant than one with a lower Q. So since you're talking about the mechanical Q of the driver, I'm going to assume that the mechanical devices in his sub resonate more than what your sub's does. I'm also going to assume that a lower QMS is better in that it won't distort as quickly?Someone help me out.
