Ive got the 57 too, go to your treble frequency center, and set your treble up to 125 i believe it goes up to, put it there and your speakers wonlt play low frequencies, this allows you to crank it up with minimized distortion up front. Let me know how that works

alright so put center freq of treble of to 125

then what do you put your bass at? 0?

also do you leave your center freq of bass at default (80htz)

What that 125 is essentially doing is not allowing your speakers to play below 125hz. Play with the bass and put it to whatever level you feel sounds decent with the volume cranked.

i think i have mine set at the lowest it can go, i think 60? ill have to double check for you, but no, the bass can go up to ten, i normally have it set at5 give or take 1

ok so by doing this its essentially eliminating the midbass id be getting from the 6x9's in the doors?

yes 60 is the lowest center freq it can go for bass on our HU

Run your HU with Sub System 1... its somewhere in setup. This way your subs volume is independent from the rest of the car, enabling you to basically have your speakers in the car at around 10 volume, or wherever it doesnt distort, and your sub to be louder. If that doesnt work, try just fading the volume towards the rear (if distorting speakers are in front).
Or just get new speakers, but if you just tweak some things here and there you can do whatever you want.

I think once you get the HU settings dialed in you'll be MUCH happier. -4 on bass is not letting your sub play up to it's potential.

I run my bass at +5 and have the sub level turned down some and it works perfect.

Get out your manual and read up on the settings as I'm betting that's where the missing punch is.

i know stock speakers for the loss....and i would do the same (running +5 bass with sub turned down some) but then at high volumes they distort...

comments on BBE? leave it off right?
