Listening to his album Renaissance right now. Anyone else listened to it and your opinions about it?

I have not heard anything mind blowing. I like the album overall, something different from what I hear on a regular basis. And his vocals are different too, a bit on the higher end.

Well the album got killer reviews, and I thought I would give it a listen. I find myself listening to him more and more lately.

But yes, very different which is why I think I like him. You don't hear anyone like him on the radio or in mainstream and it kind of draws me to him.

been a tribe fan since the low end theory... his new album is good, not great imo... i always liked midnight marauders the best... to bad phife dog got sick and they broke up...

Q-tip is way laid back. I Was just listening to a song he did with Janet Jackson and just the other day, vh1 was covering some old material from A Tribe Called Quest.

chill stuff for sure.

T.I. often refers to himself as T.I.P. and Tip, he changed his name to T.I. out of respect for Q-tip.
