Pyramid has one good amp, it's one of their down & dirty class D's that puts out a nice bit of power like 1600 or so RMS benched (it's rated 2400wrms). It might use the same board as a RF amp, I don't know.

Hey, you're putting words in my mouth. I didn't say anything about them being good. I just said that one specific Pyramid amp was benched at doing around 1.6kw. Damping factor, THD, how hot it was getting, efficiency, and all that good stuff wasn't mentioned. 1600 watts doesn't do much good at >=15% THD, DF of 25, and having your amp a 83 degrees celsius and 35% efficient.

Take a number for what it is, a number. Normally I do stick up for Pyramid, because a rare select few items they make *are* good, but not this time.
