Putting cd deck and speaker into moped

Hi there i was wondering if anyone has put a cd deck and speaker into a moped specifically a yamaha zuma or would have any idea of how hard it would be i just want like a 5-6 inch speaker nothing to fancy just wondering how hard you all think it would be

A moped? Might just be better to get an Ipod or some other portable music device, and listen via headphones under your helmet.

I don't think it would be hard, but considering that you'd need to make custom mounts for everything, along with the weird speaker positioning it wouldn't be worth it. Besides, someone would just walk up to your moped, and walk off with the deck (and possibly the moped too). Depends on what state you're in, and most of the time, having one-sided 'phones is perfectly legal. Although it pretty much defeats the point of having stereo music.

Yeah, listening to headphones under your helmet would definitely be dangerous. You need to be able to hear whats going on around you when you're driving something that small.

well first you got to have a constant 12v source. I don't think a moped has one.

you might experience some mad road noise, due to no doors, walls, or any covering!!
