One of my supervisors and I more or less had it out and i was just tired of all the BS that was going on so I put in my 2 weeks. I have some money saved up but i'm still looking for a place to work. Anyone have any suggestions on some good places to work for a college student? I'm 100% financially independent, so $10/hr isn't really going to cut it.

No flames please

quitting without already having another job lined up was a pretty big mistake in this economy...
good luck.
I realize that, and took that into account but it had to be done. I don't want to post my whole sob story on ca.com, but it's been culminating for a while

How about go out and look? Are we supposed to know what you can do and the places around? Getting 10 an hour here is hard to come across starting out even when you know something...

It would be better to see if you could stay, find another job then quit?

And if you knew the time was coming you should have asked this question about a month ago..

I could survive on $10 an hour //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
I could if I didn't have school and had a job that could do weekends and could do 50 hours a week, but I can't do 50 hours a week and maintain a good GPA. My car insurance rapes me, and rent is expensive and going up. I'm not saying $10/hr is an impossibility, just a SEVERE strain

touche. Guess not, just was looking for suggestions to see what everyone's thoughts were. And I definitely should have started previously, but it was almost like a rollercoaster... sometimes things would be great, others not so much

Maybe you should look of the definition of financially independent. It means that you do not need to work. anyways here's some help, if you are looking for a good paying part-time gig try http://www.narms.com

I have 2 part time jobs through narms and make $16 an hour with 40 hours a week and work the schedule that I make for these jobs. you don't have to deal with customers and the work is pretty easy if you have common sense. plus you don't have some on watching over you all the time making sure your doing your job.

yep ive been out of work for 2 months It ***** azzholes, At least my battlefield team is kicking butt
lol I'll have to start playing Halo 3 more often and get some skillz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
