Put a down a deposit on this today.

Hate to tell you this but that car only ACVs for around $5,000-$7,000 in stock condition with that type of mileage. Since it's been modded and drag raced I'm going to say it's at the lower range ACV (actual cash value). Not to mention all those mods are worthless to a dealer and do nothing to raise the vehicle's value to the bank.
I'd walk from that deal and laugh at the next person in line.
kbb around here was $9000. The car is in excellent shape, except for a few things. Its 9 years old so im happy.

and...

I know mods barely add any value to the car, but if I bought the car stock and put all that stuff into it I know it would be way past 12k.

How much is the supercharger you're buying.
If you're talking to me it was somewhere around $4560 w/ my discount of around 20%. The labor is going to **** at $65/hr. It's slated as an 8 hour install but this is a never before attempted install so I'm sure it will be more. I have to send them my ECM for tuning. I just ordered it w/ no obligation. Not even sure I want it anymore. Saleen makes a really good one specifically for the truck version of the 4.6L 3V V8.

The features are:

-Average gains of +115 Horse Power and +65ft-lb Torque on a stock 4.6L 3V (mustang numbers) Can be fitted to other applications.

-Roush Stage 3 roots-style blower delivers huge power gains with only 5PSI boost

-Full aluminum intake manifold with integrated free-flowing air-to-water intercooler

-Seamless overnight ECM programming and shipping included with kit

-All-in-one kit includes injectors, colder plugs, brackets, air tube, and all installation materials

-Remainder of 3/36,000 Ford Factory Warranty coverage picked up by Roush

-1 year warranty on all Roush kit components

-All installation components, parts, brackets, etc included

Yeah I saw that in excellent condition it could be worth $9,000 via KBB RETAIL. That's not the ACV though. The ACV is what your vehicle is actually worth. If you can get retail than you're golden man.

Just a note: Always ask for your vehicles ACV when trading. If they give you the same number as your trade allowance without discounting their retail price...they are full of sh&t.

If you discover your ACV than you will be able to determine their AI (available income or profit margin) on the vehcile you're trying to purchase.

I just ACVed an old a$$ Civic for $500 and gave the customer $1,000 for his trade allowance. Our margin was tight on the unit he wanted but we gave up $500 of profit to make it happen.

Always shop your ACV not your trade allowance.
