punvh 301m 900w should i buy?

Hey guys. I apologize if this thread is in the wrong spot. I currently have a Kenwood kac-7204 running my sa12 wired to 4ohms. I found an old school punch 301m 900w amp I'm hoping I could trade the guy for or work something out. Would you recommend doing so? also, how reliable is the 301m line? I don't want something that will overheat on a 100 degree day. Thanks guys! Oh yeah, and how much would you guys offer cash w/o trade?

I would not work very hard for it. Maybe $20 bucks, even less if you want something not prone to heat failure. It might be ok on a 4 ohm sub...maybe 130 to 160 watts rms.
