Wondering what the Platform 2 (1500rms) would compare to from subs like the rl-p, '05 xxx, xcon, etc. SQ is required. I don't want it if it is dirty.

Dirty? I'm sure you can wipe it off. "Dirty" implies that the signal is distorted from the original. Woofers reproduce the signal put into them. They can't "dirty" it unless the voice coil has an interaction with the top plate, creating emi. Pink Star Industries does pretty decent work, although I'm not sure you can compare all of those woofers you mentioned. Are you going solely on power handling or are you taking t/s parameters into account too?

No. Those are the subs I have used and enjoy. I am looking at a new install and wondered onto their site and this sub would be a good fit. As far as the dirty comment, i am trying to imply if this sub is as accurate, quick, tight, whatnot in its response comparably. For example back in the day I had an l7 and it was "dirty" sounding compared to my rl-p. I am a fan of using smaller companies in my setups so this one fit the bill. Output wise, does it compare with any of the aforementioned subs? Then is the sound quality possible with this sub like the others with a similar setup meaning no super box to have to fine tune subs accents.

I know that I'm a biased voice here, but they are very good sounding subwoofers in stock form. Comparable to your list for sure.

If you want them to perform a little more to the "SQ" side of things, with overall output being secondary, we can loosen the suspension even more than the stock setup, and add a heavier coil as well. We can get the Fs into the low 20's, with a ~.3 Qts, and still retain 1000w rms power handling.
