Ps3 Vs. 360

I get lag on 360 cause of shitty connections, or high traffic games, and even then, it's something that doesn't bug me. The online system as a whole is the best on 360. The PS3 isn't bad, but the 360 has that shit down pat.

just ignore him, it may be slow compared to a normal dvd, or other BR players on the market, but its because it is a 2.0 player

how is the blu ray slow??
its not as fast loading as an 8track but it does take about 20 sec to load.

20 sec to start a huge movie file,output dts-hd,1080p,and the menus at the bottom.

So I guess the 5 sec start time of a CD is slow also?

at the present time, yes. Given the extra year spent developing games for the 360 no wonder they have better graphics. Look at launch ps2 games vs ps2 games 2 years later. This is an even steeper learning curve.
The PS3 is the superior of the two systems, hardware wise. It should be it cost more, came out later, and has the advantages of an extra year of innovation before it was launched

The PS3 final hardware spec was nailed down around 6 months after the 360, the reason for the year difference in release is because the 360 was launched in the US first while the PS3 was launched in the US a while after its Japanese launch, around 6 months after, at best there is a 6 month hardware difference.

As for the hardware being more powerful on the PS3, as I said, the CPU is, the GPU is less powerful, this is based on architecture, the 360 has a better designed and more efficient GPU, no amount of development can change the fact that the 360 GPU has a better chip architecture, it's ingrained in the chip.

Not a fanboy, just hate when people make baseless statements and can't accept that they are wrong.

Also, I have never had an RRoD, nor has my brother on his 3 year old system. I had a friend who did have some problems with it though.

RRoD is less a chip design error and more of a motherboard design error and bad soldering, no matter what they should have been caught in the QA process.

microsoft has exclusives? i didnt know that i just boot my ps3 in an emulator and play the pc version, i may have to wait until it hits pc but its free. BioShock rocks on my PS3. plus i have tons of high def movies on my external drive hooked up to it. The sound come out better when you have the blue ray disc. Freee online i know good ol billy gates like to donate money to charity's and such but ill donate mine to me.

I'm about as neutral as it comes. I've had all the companies before.

I had the Sega Genesis WAAAAYYYY back when. Vectorman FTW!

Then I stepped up to the N64, Then I had a Gamecube, and then a PS2. Ditched Nintendo, their games are too kiddy.

PS2 was good, fun games, but bad online experience. Not very well controlled.

Xbox 360 was next, Woulda bought a PS3 but shit dude, as a 14 year old kid, 600 bucks was expensive! I bought the Premium Xbox, loved it. Games were fun, online was fun.

I download movies and rip them off blockbuster or Tv, so I don't really need blu-ray...

i have a wii. played a bunch of 360.

ive canned my dvd player. wii sits in a bag on the floor.

i just dont like xbox though either of them.
