Is people this impatient nowadays? What happen to the terms "Good things come to those who wait" ?

I am willing to wait after a few releases of ps3 since the first batch is usually a "test release" to determine flaws in the system. Who knows maybe Sony only ship limited # of ps3 for a reason.

Well there are quite a few people outside of my CC. I talked to a few of them to get their morale up. BTW the information that you people have and that has been spreading on the news is wrong. My Sony rep told me that Sony is saying that there are a limited number of units in order to build a hype for Christmas sales. They are making each retailer state that they only have a certain amount of units shipped as a crowd control measure. Think about it, if you say you have 300 units at a store, expect a crowd of 1000 people. Things will get out of hand. Instead they told us to say we only have 8 so that the crowd would be smaller and less dangerous.

Im an Assistant Manager...I took an inventory of 100 units at my store. Only the managers know where they are. We are giving vouchers to the people that don't make "Top 8". The vouchers are good for the next shipment (which is next week)

How's that for Sony's marketing?

BTW it was pretty cool since people brought their laptops making our store a huge LAN party. One dude offered me $1k to get him one on the side. And one of our employees took a display box, filled it with copy paper, put it in a bag, and acted like he just bought it. He almost got jumped.

if u bough one for 600 and get 2000 your tripling your profit i thin kits worth it
