ya i know, got the sticker still saved and even thought about going to walmart and just getting a new one. but i need find someone dumb enough to use there own drivers license to return it without a receipt.

first one was only 55, now there raising the price as more ps3's fail. combined prolly spent 130, which coulda just got a one from sony. ohwell i like to break things open

well don't return this one. The next you buy, keep the receipt and return the broken one with a direct swap. Don't mess with anything else (plastic) put that "never opened" sticker back and get your money back...

they didn't do that over here last month .... anyway if it doesn't work you'll still have a working ps3. there's nothing to loose.

I have a problem with it not shutting off when I am playing an older game and I have to flip the switch on the back

mine acting strange these dayz. I freeze at least once a day. I mean the controler can't be detected and start flashing, even if hook with the usb and i can't shut it with the front button, only the rear switch....

Or i have a new problem with this ps3.

Tell me what your is doing, mine with new laser (that i think is shit) Will attempt to read cd diode lights up blue then attempts to read 3 times and each time the laser lights up red. tell me what your is doing!!
