PS3 owners: Quick Question

I got my 180g PS3 today. I hooked it up a little while ago for he first time. I am setting it up. I am now at the part where it says Internet Connection Settings. It says..... Checking Network Configuration... Please Wait. My question is, how long did it stay on this screen for you. It has been 15-20 mins for me. Is this normal? How long did it take you?

just go into setting and have it automatically find u a connection? when u sign online, what service do u use? do u have ur own router that other people can get onto without a password? if so, restart the system and have it do everything uto, itll pick up ur connection and ur golden

ok Ill restart it, but i dont recall seeing an option for it to do a auto set up. had I, I would have

^^^ ya i meant wireless, but ya just go into network settings and just let it do itself, its so much easier, and quicker

check ur router, somtimes mine gets real gay, the router, and will only work for the internet but not ps3, and vice versa, so we reset the router and its fine
