i already said i did the whole COD4 on xbox 360 and wanted to try something else for the first game on the ps3

MGS4 is kickass, if you are a fan of the series it's a must have. Not to mention just a great overall game that showcases the PS3's graphic capabilities.

If you are thinking of getting GTA4, try Saint's Row 2 first. The graphics aren't quite as good as GTA4 but your character is completely customizable, as are your cars, cribs, etc. It's a really fun game. Lots to do.

Next on my list to try are Dynasty Warriors 6, maybe that new Guitar Hero (haven't been into the series), and whatever else may catch my eye //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i would get MGS but ive never played any other series....and im reading that the cut scenes make up most of the game...i rather have something where i can just play...not watch like a movie....

mgs4 kicks ***. You can skip through the movie clips if you choose to do so. Still a lot of game play regardless.

Too repetitive for me, collecting dust as of right now. I would be wary of getting MGS4 if you haven't played any of the other titles, but it is like playing a movie and one of my favs.

Yes, but I found it to get boring after a short while and setting up an account/password is a pain in the ***

The game is pretty forgiving, it goes back and covers old ground for you. But it doesn't hurt to go back and get a general synposis on the Metal Gear Universe (starting all the way back to the old NES game //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)

ended up getting fallout 3....went up to the counter with that, resistance 2, mirrors edge and MGS4 and the guys at gamestop talked me into fallout....

its way too much of a RPG for me.....suggestions?
