oh, and i have a ps3 and an elite. i see neither as better, although i prefer the 360 controller over the ps3 one. solely because of the sticks on the ps3 being convex and slippery

I think I prefer the PS3 controller just because that's what I was raised with, lol.

That and I was really put off by the first xbox controller because it was huge...I don't mind the 360 controller though, I just get confused because the buttons have different names.

Xbox has somewhat a better controller but the PS3 is a overall better console. but I like the PS controller, and the d-pad isn't as slick as the xbox one which I hate.

lol I'd love to mod my 360, but technically it belongs to the Mrs. and I don't think she'd be to happy about that...

Not that I know of. If your talking about just wanting to play emulators, you can partition the hard drive and dual boot linux, which then lets you play emulators (without voiding the warranty to boot). I've tried it with minimal success though...

Left 4 Dead is NOT exclusive to 360, it was also released for PC. And just to name a few of the PS3 exclusives you decided to ignore: God of War, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, Little Big Planet (if you weren't so insecure and actually tried it, you'd realize it's a great game), Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone, etc. And the PSN store has quite a bit of exclusive games and DLC.

Why limit yourself to one console? I mean your basically turning a blind eye to 2/3 of the gaming industry. Videogames aren't about whose console is better, it's about having fun and enjoying the game. Yeah I know I favor my PS3 over my xbox, but that doesn't mean I'm going to sell it and deprive myself of all the games that get released to it.

Not one of those exclusives interests me. Forza > Gran Turismo IMO, and none of the others are my style. XBL has more content than PSN, it's not even arguable, that is a fact, however you do have to pay for XBL where PSN is free.
