Yeah, I really don't see why people are paying so much money for one of these things. Every single console that has ever come out has had problems at launch, and this one isn't going to be any different. And besides, Sony is definatley going to ship more in the coming month seeing as to how the biggest money maker for every company is less than a month and a half away.

I'll just stick to my PC and X360 for now, and stroll into Best Buy on Sunday afternoon to pick up the Wii.

95, Sony doesn't make ANY money off the console, I am pretty sure they lose $ on the console. They only make $ on the games and that stuff.

The best buy around my place said they'd have PLENTY of WII's and people could prob. walk up and buy one Sunday. I might, it looks like a fun, drunken night system

You must not understand business very well because a company like Sony would not make something they did not make $$ off even if they did make the games. The console is basically just a comuter w/ out all the extra fancy software. A company like Sonly could easily make a console like this for $200-$300 in China. You know there going to be $450-$500 next year.
