well the reason i asked is b/c i have dial up and if the online gaming was free i was gonna ask my mom for DSL for Christmas.

I dont know how to connect my ps2 to be online. I have the slim one which has the port right in the back of it. Is there an install disc or anything? Or can I just plug in my cable modem to the back, put in a game, and select Play Online?

That`s all I do and I play PS2 online alot.Basicly Plug n Play.

Yah u just plug it in.. then go to the online features of your desired game and blammo.
