ps2 and internet

Is this connector the only thing i need to play online with my ps2? I just plug the phone lines into it and were good to go right?

Yeah...but use ethernet or it won't be fun.(if you have it) games will lag alot if you use a phone line if you only have dial up.....

The newer slim model ps2s have the internet built in...if you have the older, bigger style, then that is the piece you need

Yea i have the thin version and it has the plug in's on the back. So i just use them and i dont have to buy anything? I have roadrunner so how would pluggin a phone line into it do then?

u plug in the eithernet cable and u should be set, unless ur home network has preset ips.

ok ive never messed with this stuff at all... do i have to buy a ethernet cable? Can someone show me what it looks like?

It's the cable that goes from your modem or router, to the back of your computer
