Custom proto neo 8"

Item is mint as it can be being one of it's kind. Huge neo motor capable of near limitless excursion ( lol ). Neo does need charged but it has residual charge in it. Basket and motor are both custom tooled, basket can be modded for many options as well. Pretty rare softparts with the adire coil, I hate to part with this really.. but I simply have no use for it.

As it sits:

- With spacers between the top assembly and motor .. excursion potential is nearly limitless

- a .5" spacer would allow for 2" rearward clearance

- has a 7.5" spider landing and 8" can be modded to work.

- can be reconed for a 3" p-p, the basket can fit a 4" coil and can be tooled to fit most any motor.

- rms on the Adire Audio tumult 3" coil is roughly 600-750rms, it's internally seriesed to 8 ohm but can be changed back to dual 4 with a simple cut of the wires.

Price:

250+shipping or I'd be willing to trade it towards amps or different subs.

it will but highly inefficient. specs as it sits without charge:

as all neos do, mostly heat from extreme overpowering or overpowering in general for very prolonged periods of time. This one was never "fully" charged to begin with though as it was/is a proto. If you'll ever notice, the guy that runs the 99z that competes ( i forget his name ) has to get his charged every so many competitions where he powers it insanely for the runs. So in short, no it won't just lose charge.. but yes it will IF you give it insane amounts of power over a prolong period of time. should have no problem with up to around 4-5k for my guesstimate. Cooling on it is beastly.

it has an insanely low FS for an 8 capable of going even lower after full charge as well.

I originally bought it to run sealed in a console type enclosure in my truck but I ended up with an extended cab so with all that room I decided to go with more cone area. I may end up keeping it if it doesn't get much interest and get it turned into an 18", lms basket would be pretty beastly I think.
