well i found this humongo jar of whey protein powder, would this be a good breakfast, ust blend some of that stuff w/ milk and bananas?

or should i strictly drink this stuff as a light snack?

im trying to get off the cereal cuz ive been eating that for like 15 years straight now

but would that have the vitiamins that i would need that cereal has?

i guess the real question is will this be a good healthy breakfast?

Drink a protein shake between meals. Like if you eat breakfast at 8am, lunch at noon and dinner at 6, then drink shakes at 10am, 3pm and 9pm. It makes your metablolism a bit more constant.

lol.....where to start you do know the vitamins are sprayed on cereal due to the fact its soooooo processed and has no food value?

Yes, in a sense you're right. A better alternative than protein shakes is steak. While eating more smaller meals a day than less bigger meals will boost your metabolism, steak (or any other chewy/protein food) will be harder for the stomach to break down and digest which results in your body working hard to break it down.....which burns more calories while boosting metabolism.

I keep it simple. I buy lots of tuna fish and grill it. I'll eat a small piece 3 times a day for my snacks everyday seeing as how I eat 6 meals. I do take in 60g's of whey protein in the morning on my workout days as well along with caseine protein at night due to it being a slow disolving protein. Other than that, I try to focus on eating.

^^^ thats a great idea the only problem w/ that for me is that i have school from 830-3 then hockey for sometime after that
Even something small between classes will have an effect. A small piece of beef jerky, banana, nutrigrain bar, etc. Protein and carbs are your friend if you workout.
