I've had an 03' protege hatchback for about a year, and have been quite pleased with it so far. I bought it with 122k miles and have had no problems with it so far.

I've owned a 2003.5 Protege 5 since December 2005 and havent had a single problem. Started at 45k and have 105k on it now. I average 25mpg

Loved mine when I had it.......just went through a rough time in my life with finances and lost it.

I had a 2002 Protege' 5, was yellow with a wall in it and 18's. Was a lot of fun while I had it. Won me quite a few local shows.

Before the wall, was very good on gas and pretty peppy for a little 4.

love my protege 5 hatch. mazda's are great cars and fun to drive, you still have tons of miles left so dont let the 106,000 milage scare you off.

Better to always go with your gut in making good decisions.

I never had one problem with mine in the 2 years I had it.
