yes, I put it in the rear hatch of my van. nothing spectacular. lol all the factory deadener stuff fell off.

and you say it has almost no smell....i know the peel and seal at lowes has a smell....not sure if it does after its applied....but if that stuff you used dont i am sure it works the same

yeah i put my nose right up to it to see if it was stinky. hardly any odor.

Lolz wanna be my source of info for the night? Itll help you get that 8k post mark, how much should be used on each door? And is it just rolls of stuff or should painty stuff be bought too lol.

it comes in 2sf sheets, 2' x 1'. I'd recommend a good 6 or 7 sf per door. Double layers wherever possible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I used a total or 17sf on my doors and they sound great.

How much is it per 2 sf? I just bought some Crystal SSCS6s and I figure I want them to sound good so Ill deaden the shit out of my door... and then figure out how the hell Im gonna stop my dash from rattling... Stupid 01 Rams dash **** balls and fell apart and cracked everywhere... I have pieces just layin around in my truck...

I assume it was the 6626-35 Hip and Ridge Tape? If it was, it is 35 mills thick and has a synthetic butyl rubber based adhesive membrane. It is supposed to be good up to 300 deg. You can find all the info at protectowrap.com. They have all the MSDS sheets on their site as well.

It's probably the same stuff as Raammat. You can get the Hip and Ridge Tape in 12in x 50ft rolls. They have quite a few other types of this material, some up to 65 mills thick.

50 bucks isnt bad, is that all you used? I remeber seeing somewhere that using more than one type of deadner is good but Im probablly mistaken.
