promethazine+ambien=?

took some promethazine because the bottle said it may cause drowsiness, and i need a good night sleep tonight...then i found an ambien so i took that as well....

am i going to die?

dude seriouslt...turn off your phone and stay away from your computer if you dont go to sleep. Ambien will FUUUUUHHk u up and make you do shit you would never ever ever ever do, then you will forget about it. Though I was taking 40mg at the time, it can still cause some crazy behavior

i know what ambien will do to me, ive taken it before.

* Drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, more rarely vertigo

* Dry mouth

* Seizures (extremely rare)

* Neuroleptic malignant syndrome (extremely rare)

* Respiratory depression in patients under age of 2 and in those with severely compromised pulmonal function

* Constipation

* Euphoria (very rare with high IV doses and/or coadministration with opioids/CNS depressants)

* Restless legs

Promethazine is referred to as "zazz" on Baltimore streets, as in "let's get zazzed". This combination of drugs played a role in the death of rapper Pimp C, who had sung with Three 6 Mafia and Underground Kingz about mixing promethazine and codeine in the hit song "Sippin' On Some Sizzurp." Pimp C stopped breathing from an overdose of the mixture on December 4, 2007, he also suffered from sleep apnea which played a major role in his death. The combination of his breathing disorder and the shallow breathing the syrup causes proved to be a lethal combination. DJ Screw and Big Moe, also of Southern Texas fame, also died with high levels of promethazine/codeine/alcohol in their blood stream.

what was it that had the promethazine in it? If it was codiene with promethazine then drink about 4 ounces and you will feel good

the promethazine was in pill form...not sure how many mg's the ambien was...but i only took one, and its ****ed me up pretty well before....

Like I said I wouldnt worry too much. You will sleep very well and may be a little groggy in the morning but I doubt anything serious will happen.

I've done it a few times man.

It's a fun feeling for sure.

And when I'm on Ambien I don't do any of the stupid shit you always see. It just really mellows me out.

That's me though, everyone to their own.
