interesting....the back of that port looks a little close to the back of the trunk....isnt there a limit on where that is supposed to be? You should make that trunk electronically close so it can seal real right. Looks like it wangs though...nice work. Different!

Thats why I did it along with weight as I have a cobra and it needs to go fast evry once and awhile:naughty:

IB is where you would have doen like you did, sealed off the trunk from the cabbin. But instead of porting it like you did, let the air leak out of the trunk where ever. Essentially making the backwaves have infinite space to travle in.

Hell it would of been easier to do this...........except I wouldnt know what it was tuned for.

thats the thing, you DONT tune it. its essentially a GIANT sealed enclosure - but i dont think that L7's or L5's are made for IB setups. they like ported boxes, so you did the right thing.

but what id of done for your situation, was made a removeable port and made it as big as i could, so if i wanted to - i could swap the port out for competing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just drove it after some tweakin and sealin and not even at half power it is already soundin way better the SQ and the SPL are really good and the M2D2 is givin it some clean power,and its not even close to full tilt yet
