for dash how did you do it just put the suede on over the vinyl and with rear deck did you take old marerial off first?
Yep, just sanded the vinyl with 150 grit paper, wiped down with acetone, then glued and applied.for dash how did you do it just put the suede on over the vinyl and with rear deck did you take old marerial off first?
Yep! All of the OEM equipment will be going back in place..I'm adding some special LEDs since I have the chance as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifhey looking good man!!! what about the air bag though? are you going to cut the suede from over it or just leave it covering it?
Not too hard, but it's everything ELSE that you have to remove that makes it quite the bish to get out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gifhow hard was it to pull the dash out?
sweet as hell man. now i kinda wanna do black suede on my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
no problem mang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifIt's not hard at all, and the faux suede I got is SOOOOOO soft. I purchased samples from a number of different stores, and found the faux stuf to be even softer than ultrasuede! Check it out at distinctivefabric.com. It's only $8.50 for nearly a square yard!
PS - The PCB idea board idea is PURE GENIUS. I am going to upgrade to the other board later on...but for now, this will serve as my "electronics center" in my glovebox. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif You are, indeed, the man.
