Yeah, I understand all of that. Even the RMS ratings seem to be sketchy on cheaper stuff because they rate it at like 14.4 volts. I found out my car puts out about 13 instead of 12, though, which made me pretty happy. The thing about the Gothic is, its about 30 bucks cheaper than the Profile and I'll still need a box to put subs in, so any money saved can go towards the box.

profile are good amps. i have the 600sx one i ran it over 2 hours at high levels and i checked it and it was only warm. so it stays cool too.

Look on ebay, you will save plenty of money there.
