anyone had any experience with this amp???

are profile amps overrated???

i recently purchased an infinity perfect 10.1 its not as loud as i want it to be so i was gonn get a new amp and run two infinity 10s wired for a 2 ohm load.

any suggestions for a good amp for under $200 that would put out 500-600rms at 2 ohm.

I've not had direct experience with that exact model Profile but I have owned several Profiles in the past.

You may or may not get precisely rated output but reliable output vs. purchase price Profiles are really tough to beat.

Not bad-looking cosmetics, reliable performance, and bargain basement pricing makes Profile a great entry-level amplifier.

I don't have that exact model but I do have the CA400M pushing a single Infinity Reference sub and it really bumps! I've ran it pretty hard on my drive to and from work, which is 45 min each way and it gets warm but never hot. I can't image 2 Infinity Perfects, sounds like your going to really bump!

i have this exact amp pushing my two type r 10s. this amp is a great amp for the money. even though its not even close to giving the type rs what they want, it still gets really loud. i would suggest it to anyone. no problems with it yet...had it for about 4 months

to any of you that use this amp did you have to upgrade your alternator???

this will be going into a 2000 camry if it matters.

will the big 3 be enough??

500 watts rms at 2 ohms... i don't think your going to need to upgrade the big 3 but it will help and NO you wouldn't have to upgrade your alt unless you have an unusually small alt

ok thanks. i noticed the other night that my mtx 2150x (300rms bridged) is making my headlights dim when the sub hits. I figured i already needed the big three but theres no way im spending the money on a new alt.

what guage wire would you recommend for this profile amp???

For a 500w RMS amplifier 8awg power/ground cable should be plenty sufficient

anyone know about the headlight dimming im experiencing???

this amp and sub used to be in my first vehicle 86 chevy blazer and it dimmed the lights in there too. but i didnt give a sh*t about that truck. just dont wanna mess anything up on my new ride

hate to break it to yall but that amp requires 4 gauge power and ground. you could use 8 but i did what it said.
