can these speakers handle the arc se 4100 amp? i was gonna bridge the amp and

send the speakers 215x2. is that too much power for these speakers?

Not too much at all.

That will be fine just because you bridge the amp does not mean you have to use all the power. It will allow you some headroom and generally keeping the gains set lower helps to lower the noise floor.

That combo will be very nice and you should be happy with it.IMO

thx for the replies. which amp would be best for these speakers? the arc 4100 or 2300 se? can the profi vanadiums handle the 2300 or should i just stick to the 4100?

Either is fine. The 4100 at 215x 2 @4ohm will be fine. The 2300 is 334 x 2 @4ohm which is more than enough power. You can run either amp I prefer to have a little extra power on tap so I would go 2300 but its almost overkill in this situtation.IMO That is a personal preference though.

If you have a choice of amps, If it were me I would use the 2300, and run the gains a little lower, when ou bridge the 4 channel you raise the THD. Although it may not actually be an issue, my opinion would be using the 2300 at a gain setting that keeps it well under clipping. And if you aren't clipping and distorting you can feed more power to them than recommended.

You have an awesome set of comps and you should give them the cleanest power as possible.

But then opinions are like $#& holes everyone has one and they all stink. But that is mine.

Not if you set the amp gains properly.

If you have doubts, get it all installed and go down to your local shop and have them help you with the gains, it may cost you a couple of dollars, but it's better than killing some nice comps.
