idk if it's the "in" thing, but the popular one seems to be the alpine h701. what equipment do you have now and what do you want the proccessor to do?

if you are not going active i would recommend just getting an eq. not sure what kind of eq that 9853 has.

If you really want to get a good level of control, look into the Zapco Digital Reference amplifiers. They have a USB connection on them so you can hook up to a laptop and use the provided software for a level of control that I have not seen on any other car audio device, ever.

i love mine. fronts are active in my truck running off the dc processing. sounds great. zapco offers the dsp in a seperate processor as well.
