Problems

For about two weeks now my speakers have been quitting on me. But the sub will still work. Sometimes I'll just shut my car off and turn it back on and it will work. And sometimes they will quit if I slam the door too hard. Every things plugged in to where it's suppose to be. I think that my wiring harness might be going bad. I mean I just got a new deck so it can't be that. What do you guys think?

Are you using a smat harness on the radio? We use to have alot of problems with the pins in the harness coming losse. I you are running a smart harness I would pull the radio out, cut off the smart harness and sodier all of your wires together. Also, do you have stock skeahers in the car or afrer market?

No, mine you do it the traditional way. BTW What are skeahers?

its abviously a loose connection if u slam the door and it turns on.

Double check all of ur wiriing, at the speakers and behind ur radio

I did check the speakers and everything is plugged in but I'll be having to probably rewire everything. In the end I probably will have to sodder the **** thing. The electrical tape ain't working worth a shit.

Use the proper connectors, not just electrical tape. Like someone above me said, it's more than likely a poor contact.

I can realize that now. I'll probably get started on it tomorrow.
