Problems with Z1?

Is the major problem with the Z1 (1st gen) that it overheats? Mine has gotten REALLY REALLY hot even after just a 30 second run.

If its not even putting out that much wattage(2 ohm load min you) i don't know if i should even bother getting a H/O alt. I'm scared i'm gonna blow it or something...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

it never over heated when i had it, and i only got an nsb90 and exide orbital w/60 amp alt...lol... i also had it at 1 ohm....i dunno whats up, maybe you dont have enough power tho?

i have done professional competing with mine and it has never even gotten past luke warm. there has got to be an issue there. dont ask me what but something.
