Problems with wiring?

I am trying to install sony xplod CD-GT24W in my 2003 Saturn Ion. Ive wired everything color for color (including the ground) with the exception of the following wires black/white, orange/white, orange, orange/white, blue. Because the harness that comes with the cd player doesn't have those wires. I installed the cd player and i have no display. I am able to load and eject a cd but doesn't play any sounds. I then wired the black/white wire to the 2 black wires.The red/white wire to the 2 red wires. And the orange (because it said illumination on the wire) to the red as well and same issue. Ive also grounded to the frame and checked the fuses. Ive installed a handful of cd players in the past with never an issue but im stumped. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Based on the website and my info here is what it says I need.

Kit 95-3106

Wire Harness 70-2002

I bought my harness off ebay. The product is called Power Pro Audio and the model number is GWH-348.

Do you think I have the wrong harness?

Dude disconnect the black white,orange,orange/white from where you hooked them up your gonna either blow a fuse or burn something up you shouldnt be sending power into your illumination wire of the harness

The solid blue wire is your amp turn on

black white is amp ground

neither of which your car should have

gwh-348 thats the MAD part number for your car do like he said already tho he is right.

you didnt use an interface for your car did you?

I did that and still have the same result. I checked fuses and all is in order. Not sure what you mean by using an interface. I did notice a silver wire that went to the factory radio that doesn't plug in to the aftermarket one. Its seperate from the harness and antenna wire.

the12volt.com should have a wiring color chart if you cant figure it out take it somewhere............
