It actually does make sense, I wouldnt expect someone that drives a 13 year old girl's dream to understand though...

That and every body buying jap crap so american companies need to do things cheaper so they can stay afloat.
thats part of the problem. i agree but there must be a reason for this. not that a honda or toyota is cheaper in price really. must be something. maybe it has something to do with the fact that a honda or toyota usually have no problem reaching 300k miles + with very little part failure. idk. i lean more toward the fact that uaw took advantage of the automakers when the sales were very high.

when a uaw worker is laid off he recieves unemployment plus compensation pay from the automaker to = 90-95% of his or her pay. (example)now just a lowball figure of $300 per week of compensation pay when they lay off say just 10,000 employees for a 3 month shut down for maintenance etc. thats only $3,000,000 per week. this is a low ball figure. then see how many higher up employees that are getting way over paid and milking the companies also. this inturn is the reason a decent car or truck is the same price as a decent used home in most areas of the u.s. this and the fact that the ecnomy is down and is causing them to lay off even more people doesnt help the issue.

Racist jap addicts ITT. All of them...
