problems wiring headunit again please help

you just gotta test all your wires man.

gotta make sure you got the right wires for acc, 12+, and ground.

i've done that but the problem is, my ACC wire is non existent... when the car is on, the 'supposed' ACC wire is only drawing ~.6 volts. and i've tested all the other wires and they are correct.

put a switch on a constant 12 volt wire if you can't find an acc wire.

i was thinking about that but i just hooked up the ACC & 12v to the car's 12v wire and just turn the headunit on and off manually whenever i get in/out

You should be able to find another device that uses your AAC and splice/install a relay or whatever is necessary, right?

Run a wire to the fusebox. I'm sure you can find a switched 12v source there.

yea what he said, or even go to the ignition harness and grab the accessory there. just make sure you put a fuse on it.
