problems installing a 860mp in a 2000 jetta???

hello im puttin a premier 860 mp in a 2000 jetta and the hu holder's tabs that you push down so that it wont slide out have nowhere to go like the inside of the compartment for the hu is flat and theres nowhere to push the tabs down into any helps apreciated thanks alot

hmm, i dont know about pioneer but i helped a friend put an alpine into his 2000 jetta. for the tab, i just bent it outwards while the hu is behind the dash that way it can't be pulled out.

Anyway you can put a backstrap? Or you can screw in the mounting cage to the compartment walls.
