alright.. say i have 4 15" subs hooked up to a 2000 watt rms amp. and say that each sub is 600 watt rms...then say i take off two of the 15's but keep the same amp. what would the sound difference between the two be? would it even change? louder?

if that dint make sense:::

i have 4 500RMS subs on 1000RMS amp.. if i take off 2 of the subs but keep the same amp what will the sound difference be if there is any

Youre gonna have to be more specific about the subs and amps.

depends on many more factors then just soley the number of subs and power..in practice 4 subs have 4 db more of sp then one alonel, or to put it simply bit more then twice as loud so...

If you take off two subs the power through each sub will be 500 w rms each and you will have a total of 1000w rms together.
