So i got an 18" BTL fresh reconed that im ready to install in my box. Can I use my wood screws to bolt it down that are the same as the ones I used to put the box together? They seem like they'd fit fine with the holes but you never know maybe your supposed to use different screws for the sub. Someone fill me in on this simple Q plz:rolleyes:

Wood screws will work, but I would use something stronger. Seen many wood screws break very easily. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

x2 something stronger and something different. I say different because I like to use hex head lag screws. They hold pretty **** well and you'd need a power drill and hex bit to get them out. Think of it this way, most thieves usually only carry a couple tools, maybe a phillips & flathead screwdriver. If you make your shit hard to steal, they'll probably just give up and move on to an easier target.

Remnants of wood screws with a 3rd of the power you intend to run. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
