Pro Audio - PRV or Pyle Pro Audio

Have been talking with a friend and he keeps suggesting Pyle (not even joking) because he DATS'd the pyle pmw8a which I am getting 2 8s for the doors and it had a sensitivity rating of a 98 compared to PRV's 93-94 whatever it is. Now, if I went PRV, I'd be getting (4) of the 8mb450s a set of their new neo tweeters, and with pyle, I'd be 4 of the pmw8a's and a set of the pdbt35s. Anyone have experience or someone that knows a little more about Pyle? Seems either too good to be true. I am all about saving a little money, but I'd rather save a little and have the most output.

Opinions / experiences? I'd like to stay with these two brands.

I ran Pyle pro mids and tweets. They got down. My buddy ended up buying 12 of their 8s for a stunt wall. Depends on what price you can get them. The Pyle pros are the best budget pro audio out there.

Still about 30 dollars per 8 and then tweets are about 30 as well, just so ugly as tweets.

I'm thinking about replacing my POS Crescendo FT1s and going back to them.

I might just end up going them then, save 100 bucks than from going PRV and then put that towards a PPI 600.2.

they're both trash brands producing garbage speakers. I don't know how I could be any more clear/helpful than that :dunno:

of course if you just want to annoy people around you, you don't care what your music sounds like. in that case get whichever is cheaper

Can't fault him. He's been mislead into thinking higher sensivity means better.. FYI they are great budget pro sound drivers..

System design should almost never be based around any one parameter.. what your budget space constraints and expectations?

Kmsl. For next to nothing most people can live with the Pyle pro sound. Granted i agree with you.. kmsl

Mainly just loud and clear and a bit of detail. But not like strict sound quality. Just not ear piercing highs and smooths mids
