anyone have any primerica stories to share. i was in a seminar the last 2 nights and ive been doing research. but i cant find any articles on people who've actually joined the company. only angry bloggers who bad mouth the idea. im curious as to what anyone on here has to say?

lol those guys were trying to recruit on my campus, seems to me like some pyramid scheme, probably telemarketing I'd assume.
He was telling me. How would you like to make 2,000 bucks a week and provide a great future for your family, But He wouldn't tell me how //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

It's amazing how people get sucked into that kind of stuff. I recall a high school friend who willingly admitted to forking out $500 for the "training" for some telemarketing gig and acted as if he was going to make so much money. There have been several other acquaintances of mine who tried to get me involved in such things, I always knew to turn them down.

I was in for a while in Tampa. I was making more money than my 60hr/week job was paying me in one transaction with them. I won't bad mouth the company. I was able to make about $800 a week working 2 evenings per week. Maybe 4 hrs or so. I saw the end though when my leads started to dry up and the money stopped rolling in. I was online to get my series 66 and mortgage license to try and grab some more leads but never finished them. I wasn't willing to give up a steady paycheck with company paid insurance. I honestly don't think I was very good at it though. The guy I worked with made better than $38K/month. I asked to see his paychecks. He had what it took I suppose. He and I are still great friends.

Pyramid schemes are illegal. Just so all of the awesome minds above that think they know enough to state it as such. Call it what you will though. You will still be wrong.

I ended up quiting because the wife was getting tired of me being gone a few nights a week tracking down new leads. All of those hours combined with my 9-whenever job were taking their toll. I hated cold calling anyway. She basically said we were making enough money to do all of the things we wanted and the extra cash, although nice, was not necessary. I agreed and called it quits for the sake of my marriage. I admit I do miss the money.

One more thing I just thought of to. I have run into literally hundreds of people that didn't understand the company or its structure and were closed minded from the start. They would ask me all the time how I made money or how they could too. They were being pricks and had a ton of attitude going into the conversation. I loved the sarcasm. I wouldn't waste my time explaining the structure to someone who didn't give a shit in the first place. I would have wasted and hour or so explaining it to them only to have them not listen anyway.

Believe me, it is not hard to tell these people from those who are actually interested. Just as you wouldn't waste your time on a person like that, neither did we. I just had better things to do.
