you can do it yourself for about $30.00 in parts and 2-3 hours max if that tells you anything

Do you suggest someone do it there self that has little to none experience??? All the aftermarket kits and wiring are already in my car...the only thing I could imagine need are wire nuts...

200+ for installation, the unit itself was $250...

yea there's one of those brain boxes...it's a pioneer avic n3...but that's not complicated...my biggest concern is powering it up...I don't want to blow the unit...

Read up on it and just make sure you disconnect the negative terminal on your battery before you start.

Also try to find the manual on the Pioneer site. It should come in handy.
