PRICE DROP FS: 1988 Honda CRX $1300 firm

1. Product:

Honda CRX ( Located in Central NJ)

2. Specs:

D15 motor, 90 hp. In good shape, only 80 k on motor, I think ~260k on chassis.

3. Description/Condition:

Bosal exhaust, 5000k HID kit, some other custom stuff, Has alarm and remote start (no safety lockout) has a set of racing seats.

Everything works for the most part except A/C, and rear defroster is iffy. Clutch makse a whirring noise (throw out bearing) but it runs and drives perfectly. Could prob use a couple new tires. It needs nothing as is though, can drive and drive, I have absolutely no problems with it as far as reliability goes.

No rust in those spots, there's some in the door jam. Mostly surface related from what I can tell.

YPU got to be kidding me. This is 4 pages long and NO ONE has bought this car? I looked at the photo's on the first page and thats all I needed to see. the cars in good shape. its not in great shape b/c its an 88! Comm'on people, I dont even know this person, but I love crx's! he did a good job I think of keepin it real. Shuz, its still got a d15 motor in it. Who cares if its got body rust or a ding or dent in it, ITS AN 88! Your not buying a 2010! and even then, your still buying a car! its gonna have flaws! I should know. I work for honda!!!! So anyway, good luck on the sale. if I had the freggin money, I'd just buy it from you and keep it to play with. I checked out a couple of people's comments. Its got high mileage but who give a crap. if the car runs and smokes a lil bit, then your still ok. if you rebuilt the motor ever, then your crazy for selling it so cheap. Trust me, I've had over 5 crx's at one time. I know everhting about them. I have done motor swaps and gotten my *** kicked plenty of times, but came out clean on the other side!IN MY OPINION, don't deliver it. If they want the car, they'll come and get it for 1300. Don't drop the price. your giving a hell of a deal. Don't settle for less than $1200. You can't find them on craigslist for under 1200 here in my town. Actually, less that 2300 I just checked. It looks great man. If you don't sell it, hold onto it and maybe in a coupls of months when i get some stuff in order, I'll come up and drive it home. but for now, let me get back to my subs for sale. ttyl

well, I've heard all that before but really, motor swaps can never be accurate. I mean, they say around here motors from japan have from 35k-65k, so really, you have no idea what your buying untill you rebuild it or at least replaces most the gaskets. But anyway, yea man, don't settle for less and rip yourself off. its just not worth it. if no one buys it for 1200, then keep it till someone does!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif seriously, its worth it....the hell with low ballers!!!!
