For a very nice DD sub/amp set up, you wont need $2000. Why not get a 15" RE XXX, and a Orion 2500D? How much room do you have in your trunk for a box?

if u have that kind of money to spend get two 12 inch eclipse titaniums put them in a ported box and you will be happy http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2003

oh and you would need a amp that puts out about 1k @ 1 ohm there dual 4 ohm coils so u can wire the both to get a single 1 oh load the rms is 750 but thats underated they can handle more and they are great subs i have a 15 inch titanium pro.

Also u can find them cheaper on e bay.

i don't think so batman. that trunk is probably smaller then my bonneville and there is no way you'll fit a 10 cube box in there. if you went 2 15's sealed you'll probably fit it, but not 2 15's ported.

If you got with the Eclipse's, then you could pick up a Viper 1200.1 for around $250new, does 1200 x 1 @ 1 ohm....

Or even get a Nine.1 with that kind of money... around $400 shipped.

go with a single sub. you'll be impressed how loud some of these single subs can get. a 15" xxx or brahma ported with around 1500 watts rms will sound good and get loud.

the eclipses will probly still get loud sealed my ti pro is sealed now but im soon gonna port it

How do you make a profit off a jensen? Sell it for scrap metal or something? Probably worth more that way...
