Of the three companies listed as options I would go with MTX (assuming we're comparing each manufacturer's lower-level drivers)

Giving us a proposed budget would really be helpful in making possible suggestions.

There are heaps of different subs out there to buy. Some good, some great, and some that aren't even useful as paperweights. All depends on (A)how much $$ ya wanna spend, (B)what you're wanting to achieve with it, and ©how much real estate in your ride you're willing to dedicate to your sub stage

no my friend has a jensen about 500 watts and i just wondered what its worth he said he will sell it to me for 50$ wonderin if its worth that. And no i saved up about 2000 for my system just wondered what i should get.

wait a minute you have $2000 for a system and are asking about a $50 jensen sub? they go for like $70 at walmart, already in a bandpass box. don't waste your time with this garbage.

They sell for 50 bucks brand new in Wal-mart up here in Canada, definatly not worth the 50 bucks he wants from you, at most 25 bucks is all you should pay for a used 10" Jensen sub.

Pioneer has some subs that will kill the Jensen and cost just a little more.

What exactally are you trying to by for $2000 a complete sytem or an amp/sub setup. I wouldn't even spend my money on jensen considering you have that much saved up. If I had to chose from those choices I would go with MTX. I had an all Audiobahn sytem, from my wiring to my sub amps and could never get it to sound good. It seemed the more I would put into it the worse it would sound. One day I got so pissed off I ripped everything out and literally junked it. Now my bother in law has an MTX setup that sounds awesome in his blazer. He has 4 12" MZS and 2 6500 amps. The MZS subs are not to expensive and do sound good. I heard that MTX is making a come back are supposedly going to take over the car audio scene, I dont know if that is true or not.

Well i was just thinking i could get the Jensen and make a profit off of it im gonna tell him wat u guys think and maybe he will lower the price i think im gonna go with the mtx and im look in for a sub/amp
